The Path to Triple Freedom.

i have know idea why this picture is up here either.
Well, week one of my new-look blog is in the books. Still am smitten with my hip new design. I find myself staring at the main page for minutes on end. Naked. Okay, maybe not naked, but still, that's not a bad idea. Never have been naked in front of my computer before (honest), but I can see how that would have an appeal. I find sitting before my computer and staring at the screen very freeing. I also find being naked very freeing. So there's a good chance that combining those two things would leave me feeling doubly freed.

Oh, but there is an autumnal chill in the air today and my neighbor's mean teenage sons are looking at me right now from their bedroom window (hi), so I best not disrobe. My neighbor's mean teenage sons would have a field day if they saw me naked in front of my computer. I'd never hear the end of it. It's bad enough as it is what with their constant taunts and limerick slamming. I hate limerick slams. Wish they'd just go to a club or something for that. It's annoying when they host them on their front porch. Almost as annoying as the time they locked me in my garage.

Anyway, I'm still quite happy with how this first week of the "new" Utter Wonder has gone. There have been no major technical glitches and people seem to be happy with the posts. I was worried I'd have trouble finding my blog voice in these new high-end environs, but find it I did. It sounds like a teenage girl's voice at times, but it could be worse, I reckon.

One bummer about the new site is that it's cut down on a lot of traffic. All the archives have new URLs, and search engine and comment spamming crawlers have yet to find them. Thus visits from Google searches looking for "Star Jones naked" are few and far between, and as a result my numbers are way down. I guess it's sort of interesting in that I'm getting a better sense of how many "real" visitors pass by, but it's kind of a bummer to see such a low number for total visits each day.

I'll live, though. Soon spammers and lonely, horny teenagers will once again be sent to Utter Wonder, and my site's stats will be artificially boosted once more. I suppose I should just kick back and enjoy this quiet time for my blog while it's upon me. I find quiet time very freeing. Gives me a chance to get reacquainted with myself. It's quite nice. I think once my neighbor's teenage sons leave their bedroom window to go buy drugs or harass squirrels, I'll take my pants off and stare at the computer screen for an hour or two. Wow. Quiet, naked, and staring at my computer screen. That'll be awesome. Triple freedom, here I come!

Have a nice weekend.

What's wrong with La Toya? Is she brain-damaged? Can anyone explain her?
