Utter Wonder's Storm Force Action News Team's Special Report #5!.

Posted 01/28/2005 07:33 AM by cmonks in > you don't know what it's like to be me.

The sun has begun to cast its magical rays down on the mounds and mounds of snow in our neighborhood and we all are sighing a collective sigh of relief. The Blizzard of '05 is finally over. We can now go back to our lives. I'm looking forward to a return to normalcy. More importantly I'm looking forward to everyone in my family returning to school and work so I can have the house to myself and play XBOX all day long in peace again.

I'm also looking forward to writing full-length blog entries again. Unfortunately, I bit my tongue while eating the remaining cookie crumbs from the cookie box and that prevents me from writing a full-length entry for today. Instead, I offer one last dramatic photo of the view from my front porch.
nothing to see here.
The covert Animal Control Black-Op SUV is gone. Thankfully I was not a victim of their covert Black-Op operation as it turned out it was just an old neighbor stuck in his car in the snow. He'd been stuck there for seventeen hours. Guess that's why he kept honking his horn and screaming for help. Anyway, it appears I'm off the hook and my stupid joke about dead kittens in my front yard will finally stop coming back to haunt me.

Utter Wonder will return next week with regular non-storm related full-entries. I know many of you will still be craving my storm updates, because they've been a rounding success, but it's time for us to move on with our lives. Jerks.

Have a nice weekend.

This post is dedicated to the 500 greatest songs ever.

Comments.

My cat has been missing. I thought that maybe she was accidentally stuck in a closet at home, but I think I see her in that photograph...that one ear looks reeeeeally familiar.

This week in Boston has been a week from Richard's hell. The neutron bomb I lobbed at my neighbors because they stole my parking space killed them, but didn't destroy their car. D'oh! I should have used a couple of RPGs on their asses. It's finally safe to venture out in the world. I saw plows actually plowing and not driving up and down the street. I won't knock a man for wanting to eat cookies, but don't eat cookies while plowing. I swear one plow driver was licking grease off his chubby fingers. I"m not voting for Menino or Romney in the next election because the roads were so bad. The only thing the city and state cared about was locating the hundreds of missing cats buried under the snow in someone's front yard.
