Yee-haw!.

THIS BIRD WILL NEVER CHANGE!I'm back, gibbons! Ring the bells, etc. The South treated your high-end fair-to-middling blogger like the lady that he is. What a time! Fun and sun was had, my peeps! I got me a tan that would SPF-up Georgie Hamilton himself. Yee-haw! Yep, that's right: Yee-haw! That's what locals say down there when they're happy and satisfied. Yee-haw! I have no idea what it means, but it's cool to say.

Yee-haw!

Anyway, nothing really is finer than a week in Carolina. Take my word for it. Highlights abounded throughout the week. Too numerous to mention, actually. Wouldn't want to bore you with my awesome stories of vacation awesomeness (like the night I bagged me an opossum!), so I'll refrain out of respect for you and your fragile disposition. Must have sucked for y'all to be on non-vacation last week. Wish I could relate.

Yee-haw!

Speaking of Yee-haws, I'd like to thank Gene Morgan for filling in for me while I was gone. He did a stellar job. And while many might think I'd be envious of all the comments he got, I'm not. Jerks.

Yee-haw!

So even though I had a delightful time doin' it up southern style, it's good to be back. My week away from blogging made me realize how important the craft of blogging is to me, as well as how fragile my ego gets when not having 7.42 people a day read about my Leaf Hog. I can't tell you how many times over the course of last week I found myself stopping to think, "I should totally blog the crap out of this!" It was always a letdown remembering that I had no blog to blog to. But now I've returned and my blog is my blog again and I'll be able to blog the crap out of things whenever I want to! So crappy blogging, here I come!

Yee-haw!

Comments.

I just read your post from April, 2003 about SARS and various symptoms. You know what? I have a dry, scratchy throat and feel lethargic. And whilst that may not be much in comparison to the world's troubles, it bothers me today. How dare you invalidate how I feel? YES my throat is scratchy and NO I don't have to like it. So bite me already.

Uh, C, don't bite that person, cause I think they've already admitted they're infected.
I hope this isn't the beginning of another Mad Cow outbreak.

I'm just sayin'.
