Fashion Highs and Lows of the Westboro Baptist Church.

i hate myself.
I'm a fan of fleece anything, especially headbands, and this WBC member looks pretty sharp in hers. I like the way the royal blue band compliments her pale blue parka. Her outfit celebrates the brightness of winter, and it's easy to applaud somebody with such an optimistic view of what often is the most dreary of seasons.
GRADE: A-

i'm a closeted lesbian whose having issues coming to terms ith her sexuality. so is my grandson.
Grandma's rolled up pants aren't doing her any favors. It'd be one thing if her shins were worth showing, but they aren't. I typically try to avoid making sweeping generalizations, but Westboro Baptist Church members have by far the most unattractive shins of any hate group in the country. As for the grandson, his hooded sweatshirt is trendy enough, but one wonders why he's wearing velcro-laced sneakers. He appears to be old enough to know how to tie his shoes. Perhaps he's "special."
GRADES:
Grandma: C
Grandson: B-

our parents were siblings.
I like the sunglasses the woman is wearing. They're small and trendy and fit her face nicely. She's appears very happy about them, too. Or maybe she just heard a funny homophobic joke. The teenage boy, on the other hand, looks as though he's been wearing that outfit for days. I can smell him just by looking at his picture. I bet he hasn't cleaned his room in months. His sheets are probably teeming with all kinds of fluid stains. Shivers!
GRADES:
Woman: B+
Teenager: D-

i have never been asked out on a date and i use all my pent up sexual tension towards hating people who are getting more sex than I am.
I find this photo a bit curious. Based on the crowd viewing this WBC member, it looks like she's at some sort of hate group fashion show. However, I don't know what's up with the black t-shirt and shorts with a navy blue sun visor. You mean to tell me there wasn't a black sun visor lying around somewhere? That's hard to believe, especially at a fashion show. What was she thinking? She could have at least borrowed a sheet from one of the Klan models and made a bandanna out of it or something. White and black go much better together than blue and black.
GRADE: C-

sometimes we masterbate while watching reruns of the jeffersons.
Oh dear: guy on the left is sporting a fanny pack. How unhip can one religious hate group member be? To make matters worse he's wearing it in the front, thus no longer rendering it a fanny pack, but a "crotch pack." Mercy. I don't know, perhaps he wants to direct our attention towards his crotch. I'm not sure. If I had my choice, I'd opt not to be drawn towards staring at his crotch, but that crotch pack of his just keeps beckoning me to stare at it. I wonder if he's circumcised?

This post is dedicated to ceiling fans.

This is why God put you on Earth, C. And we thank him for it.

They make it so easy to pick on them that I feel a little guilty doing so.

But not enough to stop doing it.

Posted by: Nicholle at 06/13/2005 11:05 AM

It's been a long time since I've been to church so maybe the rules have changed, but didn't Jesus love everyone? Didn't he say not to judge, that was God's job? I think I remember love thy neighbor as thyself. Again, maybe the rules changed. I remember the 10 Commandments were a pretty big deal. It looks like this group added a few more.

Posted by: Patti at 06/13/2005 12:09 PM

Wow, if this is trendy hate-group wear, I'm glad I am more of a lover. I could never pull off these styles.

This post made coming to work on a Monday morning kind of okay.

They wouldn't go to job interviews dressed like this, would they? These people should really learn that they'll be taken seriously if they look good! Oh wait... that's not true.

Posted by: Jess at 06/13/2005 12:50 PM

Ah yes Patti, that is a common misconception. Though the names "Jesus" and "JAAAAYSUS" are phonetically similar, the latter refers to a completely different set of ideology that few would classify as Christianity... or even sanity ;)

Posted by: Mark at 06/13/2005 12:51 PM

I know somewhere in the bible it says 'let he who is without sin cast the first stone...'.

Apparently these people are PERFECT. Well, in their own minds at least. Which causes them to feel the need to ram their beliefs down the throats of everyone who feels otherwise.

Posted by: Nicholle at 06/13/2005 12:52 PM

I'm tempted to start a followup critiquing the graphic design used on their signage, but that would be too easy.

Posted by: Macgyver at 06/13/2005 12:56 PM

Not to spoil your fun, but just to make clear there are actually Bible verses that condemn homosexuality. That said, the Bible does also say, "let he who is without sin cast the first stone." While I do think that homosexuality is wrong, they are taking the worste possible way of dealing with it. Tell them how you feel, what the Bible says, and if they want to change they will, and if they don't then let God deal with them.

Posted by: Jaime at 06/13/2005 01:42 PM

this is the best post i've ever read!!! HILARIOUS. but, i've only read 2! and damn is this funnier than that last one :-)

Posted by: mark at 06/13/2005 01:43 PM

I talked with "fannypack" and apparently the circumcision was a botched job. He said that he would have been hung like a horse otherwise. BTW, you dedicating this post to ceiling fans makes me hopping mad. Let's keep in mind ceiling fans collect dust and spread mites everywhere when you turn them on. Promoting these fans is the last thing you should want to do. Aside from that, I have to say the fashion critique was great and we can only hope they read this and adjust their wardrobe.

Posted by: Cowicide at 06/13/2005 01:44 PM

Jaime, you should learn the facts about the Bible and homosexuality, perhaps by starting here: http://www.truluck.com/html/the_bible_and_homosexuality.html

Posted by: Anonymous at 06/13/2005 01:48 PM

This made my day. Thank you!

Posted by: Daniel at 06/13/2005 01:49 PM

Jaime is right in saying homosexuality is wrong. That is scriptual, but this church is also wrong. The bible does say not to judge because Jesus himself did not judge us. Those protesters give Christianity a bad name. If people like that have offended you, know that there are true beleivers in the world who do not feel as those protesters do.

Posted by: a_crazman at 06/13/2005 01:57 PM

Let's say, argument's sake, that homosexuality is wrong. Let's also state that lying, drug abuse, and cheating (on spouses or otherwise) are wrong. I don't see these people outside of crack houses dooming people to hell or outside of schools or in front of their own houses.

Let's again assume that homosexuality is wrong. Is this the best way to convert others to your opinion? No. No, it is not. So, their point must be to show the rest of us how morally superior they are. That seems to be an awful lot of pride for people claiming to be light on this earth.

I really don't understand people sometimes.

Posted by: Aundrea at 06/13/2005 02:15 PM

Homosexuality is not wrong, nor is it a choice (any more than heterosexuality is a choice). It is not scriptural; "our understanding of sexual orientation as we know it today did not exist 50 years ago, much less in biblical times."

Posted by: Anonymous at 06/13/2005 02:30 PM

You can twist the bible to say pretty much whatever you want. The guy at www dot sexinchrist dot com does a GREAT job of convincing us god is in favor of oral, back doors and threesomes. Just not between men.

Posted by: Shamrock at 06/13/2005 02:38 PM

I have it all figured out. They figured that people will think they are gay if they match colors and dress correctly in public. I would say they got that idea from "Queer Eye" but these people probably don't own TVs. You know, the devil's tools. Might catch gay from it.(door handles too) :) Of course my buddy Tony is gay and that boy don't got any fashion sense either!

Damn, I might have caught gay just then. No, wait, no, I'm okay now. Stupid hate mongers!

Posted by: Anonymous at 06/13/2005 02:42 PM

So the bible says it's wrong. There are other outdated books that say the world is flat. The problem is that some misguided people are following a book that isn't relative to present day culture.

This is great - there has to be something to laugh at about these people - aside from the fact that they are so absurdly mean.
There should be a grading system for their signs - maybe on the basis of "What would Jesus say?"

Posted by: Genie at 06/13/2005 02:59 PM

These people even have Jobs? Is there a list od places these fucktards protest. I would lover to bring a bullhorn to one of there rallys and preach for my god...He smites idiots, bad dressers, and redneck fucks that voted for Bush. He is great god.

Here's an analogy for you folks to ponder:
Westboro & Christian Hate Groups are to Christianity at large as Terrorist are to Islam at large.

Not all hate groups are Christian, and not all Christians hate gays, or hate muslims, or hate anyone. In fact, I would say the majority of them acknowledge that Jesus preached love, and that even if you hate the sin, you must not only love the sinner, but treat them with honor and respect.

Likewise, most muslims, (speaking from ignorance, but I'd like to see the bigot with enough chutzpah to contradict me) hate terrorists, and not all terrorists are muslims, etc etc etc.

The problem is that these squeaky ("bomby"? "pickety"?) wheels get a ton of media attention, whereas good, decent, normal people doing perfectly rational normal things are too boring to make the evening news.

The problem is that I, as a decent and thoughtful Christian, am as offended reading your posts as I'm sure gays must be looking at those fashion disasters carrying hate-signs.

Posted by: Colin Knox at 06/13/2005 03:22 PM

How do they know who God hates? If I were presumptuous and thought I could speak for God, I would say that God hates it when people presume to speak for him without express authorization by His PR people.

Posted by: tedmom at 06/13/2005 03:30 PM

Simple minded redneck Americans. Must be nice to feel like you above being gay. I married and not gay but see how you think your above the gayness. Slap, slap ooze.

Just an idle thought....how about telling all those fine upstanding Westboro Babtist churh members, "They're all "Fags" in those oil rich countries" Then give them all a rifle, and a one way ticket.

Posted by: Mick at 06/13/2005 03:34 PM

Hey Colin Knox,
I assume you are right, there likely are a few Christians who may be for Gay rights. But I can likely say without any chance of being stereotypical that by far the majority of Christians are not for gay marriage. "Sure we'll treat them with honour and respect... but the same rights as me? No way!"

This amounts to hate in my opinion.

Posted by: G_ Garmello at 06/13/2005 03:46 PM

It should be a "sin" to be ignorant and stupidity should hurt. Then these idiots and their other low class counterparts in their cheap t-shirts with their wal-mart poster boards would no longer be a part of this world. The world would truly be a better place.

Posted by: Croydon at 06/13/2005 03:51 PM

I wonder if these people who are so positive that God is against homosexuality (and I'm not saying I feel one way or another regarding homosexuality) are aware that the bible-where they are supposedly getting all of their information from, was written and arranged by PEOPLE. People influenced what went into (and what was left out of) the bible, and how it was written, and how it should be interpreted. That would certainly make me think twice before I go blasting 'what God said' to everyone else and telling people of a certain persuasion they are wrong. Everything is open to interpretation and needs to be taken with a grain of salt (in my opinion).

Posted by: Nicholle at 06/13/2005 03:53 PM

the song i learned was "jesus loved the little children, all the children in the world," not all the heterosexual children of the world. the second version doesn't have the right meter.

Posted by: lh at 06/13/2005 03:54 PM

Hey G_ Garmello,
Being against gay marriage may be unfair and ignorant, but it's not "hate". Check a dictionary. That being said, I'm a Christian and I have no problem with gay marriage.

Posted by: larry at 06/13/2005 06:44 PM

t (mojave desert): no, the "God Hates America" sign is a good old Westboro sign. They believe that God hates America because it has so many fags, and because it's a "fag-enabling" state, thus making it a fag state.

Posted by: Chris at 06/13/2005 06:59 PM

I am sick of these right wing morons. There idealistic talk about family values is enough to make a person want to hurl. Instead, they just ignore those that have problems. The idea of getting back to decency is an illusion. There never was any "decency." It was a Cold War fantasy for those interested in manipulating the public and as propaganda against communism. The United States was not founded as a Christian nation, but rather as a compromise between those who were Christian and those who were deist. Go back and take a look at when Christmas was instituted and when certain elements of "God" were infused into the public trust.

Wow. I never realized that america had become complacent towards the homo threat. Maybe we should start carpet bombing West Hollywood and Chelsea to become more decent. Oh wait, they don't have any oil.

Gay marriage has been legal in Canada for almost two years now and we have yet to have anarchy in the streets and hell, even the Canadian Muslim Congress has supported gay marriage.

Wait, maybe it's a part of their master plan to distract the west from their master plan. We can't stop terrorism with the constant sound of butt fucking in our ears. OR, may be gay marriage is being used by a bunch of right wing ass hats as a wedge issue that distract the population from real issues. Like war, poverty, education and affordable healthcare. You know, important stuff.

Posted by: Neil at 06/13/2005 08:28 PM

More and more christians are actually waking up to the fact that the bible does NOT condemn homosexuality. Current biblical teaching is a result of distorted interpretation from the original meaning. If you start with the original texts in their original languages and follow it through then it's quite clear to see the bible supports ALL relationships which are based on love. The churches general attitude is an artificial line in the sand with little to no biblical backing and will eventually be exposed for the innaccuracy it is.

Posted by: chad at 06/13/2005 09:10 PM

I notice that a lot of heterosexual Christians have caught the scripture that alledgedly banning homosexuality have yet to begin keeping kosher. Somehow "GOD's" thoughts on Sex are rigid but his proclaimations on diet are negotiable. Why should this be true? Most of us eat every day, and have sex everyday only in our dreams. Why would God be more concerned with how we have sex than how we eat? I thank My Wild Bi-sexual Goddess that I am not a Christian, because if I was I'd have to give up both the Lobster and the oral sex. I don't know about what "GOD" feels, but I think it's pretty clear that Yahweh hates Fags, Virginia Ham, Crayfish gumbo and "Modern" dance.

hibiscusroto-

Interesting that you should mention that...

"People who have a tendency toward homosexuality but fear it may protect themselves from recognizing it by vigorously separating themselves from homosexuals (West, 1977). In a study supporting that explanation, men who scored as highly homophobic on a questionnaire were subsequently found, through direct physical measurement [note: this definitely made me giggle], to show more penile erection while watching a male homosexual video than did other men, even though they denied experiencing any sexual arousal while watching the video (Adams & others, 1996)."

-- Psychology, Peter Gray, fourth ed.

While I'm sure it's possible to attribute the homophobic men's arousal to other factors (higher levels of general [non-sexual] arousal, perhaps), it is a very intriguing bit of research that has been done here.

And to anoninpdx: being against gay marriage may indeed be unfair/ignorant/still not hate, but rigidly denying a group of people rights because you don't agree with who they are (has anybody else heard about the flies they genetically modified to be gay? The evidence is mounting) is an incredibly hateful action. People are free to have their nasty, hateful thoughts; it's when they start forcefully inflicting them on other people that I have an issue.

But then again, when I go to church, it's a UCC church, and they're the ones that got in trouble with a couple major networks for having an advertisement that was "too controversial" because it promoted acceptance. Strange times these are.

Posted by: Liene at 06/13/2005 11:26 PM

You didn't mention the gradient hues on most of the signs which give it that whole "rainbow" inclusive feel to the whole thing {wink, wink}.

I'm fairly certian that this group is the Fred Phelps and his merry band of 6 children they call a "church" that I was forced to stomach all my highschool years in Topeka, Kansas.

I remember my first visit to seee the Nutcracker, and he was there . . . with a sign that said "Faggot Ballet". I also remember trying to explain to my 6 year old brother what Fred's trademark Stick Figure Men were doing in that compromising bent over position.

If Fred Phelps ever made me sick, nothing nauseated me more than the public's complete tolerance of someone so disgusting. He was always visible. Every. Day. I now understand that he was tolerated because he just represented a more radical version of what all my redneck neighbors already thought. Its OK to hate what is different than ourselves. Shame. On. Them.

The usual argument against the 'the bible is against gays' idiots is to point out that it is also against 'mixing two different threads'.

I feel that more analysis should be given to the evil polycotton nature of the appallingly bad clothing depicted.

Then we can stone them, legally. I think.

Posted by: Anonymous at 06/14/2005 06:20 AM

You know, although I go to church (a UCC church,) I can't call myself a "Christain" because it puts me in the same bucket as people like these folks. If the protesters really are Fred's family, I'd say there's some inbreeding going on.

Posted by: Margie at 06/14/2005 08:24 AM

I love this site ! I'm from Topeka, KS where the Phelps and their litter come from, and I know them and their tactics well......too well actually !
Out of 11 children, two of whom escaped to LA, there are not 9 lawyers among them, they are ALL lawyers, maybe 15 or so including gr children, except Phred who was disbarred long ago for using clients money ! Now he just uses the "churches" money !
Right now, they are in San Fran protesting something or other.....fertile ground of course. All trips for about 20 of them are tax-exempt since they are "church related."
The fresh faces pictured here are grandchildren and friends of. All the original Phelps are so ugly it's a stone sin ! Best case for "pro choice" I've ever seen !
The kids, gr kids, etc grow up picketing since it's been going on since '91, probably longer than many of you have been on this earth !
They have sued almost everyone and everything in Topeka until the city is just worn out with all of them. They are the scourge of the City and a big reason why new talent won't relocate there.
Of the original gang, Phred, wife, son Jonathan, daughs Margie, Rebecca, and I can't even rememember allthe rest, they are smart and well-educated, and, IMHO, evil personified. There have been charges of child abuse, child endangerment, etc related to their treatment of gr children, but nothing proved.
Child Protective Services GAVE UP ! As did the rest of the City. Phelps outlasted several Mayors, numerous City Council-people, various DA's, etc. and he's still going strong.
But here's the thing, THIS IS NOT A CHURCH, folks, IT IS A CULT.
And Phred is the Cult Leader. When he's gone, which shouldn't be too long now, no one knows what will happen to the remaining humiliated, abused, and bullied children, gr children, spouses, etc.
But one thing is sure, what EVER happens to them won't be punishment enough to make up for the pain they have caused, and continue to cause, all over the country !
If obscenity is "without socially redeeming value," that perfectly describes Westboro Baptist "Church" and the Phelps !'
So now you know .....
millja

I witnessed the Phelpsians at the Mister Rogers memorial in Pittsburgh (Fred Rogers was a "Fag Enabler"), and I have to say that out of all the Westboro fanny packs, Phelps himself took the cake.

Does anyone remember the fact that the bible, the one most people are taught from, the same one that is giving these people their magic powers of hatred, bigotry, and superiority was written by men. Fallible, imperfect men. Then, translated, reinterpreted and re-written by a King. Someone with absolute and unquestioned authority rewrote the holy book of god because he felt like it. And this is the one most people read. But there's no problem with that, in fact that's a good thing. Oh, yeah, I've got a nice bridge to sell you, too.

12,000 years ago there were between 1 and 10 million people in the world. As of 09:39 GMT there are estimated to be 6,447,888,110. I think we've got the "multiply" order pretty well sorted, huh. Homosexuals aren't exactly holding us back is what I'm saying.

I have my suspicions. Didn't Jesus hang around with 12 men. And of course he never got married.Imagine the parties!

Posted by: Kathy at 06/15/2005 06:01 AM

So, uh, C ... when are you going to reply individually to all of these comments already?

Posted by: hockomock at 06/15/2005 09:40 AM

Christians who don't agree with these people should stand up and defend their faith. It's easy for people like me or you to make jokes about them and take the attitude that these are just isolated wingnuts -but we have no influence on these people. Hate grows. It's contagious. Disaffected people see these signs and hear this group's message and they think "Oh well that explains why the world is fucked up...the gays". We have all seen what fundamentalism can do in other countries... we even (supposedly) bombed the crap out of Afghanistan to end it there. Just calling these guys a "hate group" doesn't cut it for me. These are America's fundamentalists, just like James Dobson and Jerry Falwell and they will control people through hate and fear. That is not my faith or my country. "The measure of freedom is the distance between Church and State."

Outstanding! To blatantly rip off an idea from Joel Derfner: someone needs to produce a t-shirt that reads "I'm not a member of the Westboro Baptist Church but my boyfriend is"

Thank you for this brilliant post. I haven't laughed so hard in such a long time. Cheers.

I think the people who talk about the bible saying homosexuality is wrong should read the rest of it. Apparently slavery is OK, as long as you're not enslaving a fellow Israelite, and it is also wrong to eat animals that live in the sea but dont have fins and scales, such as lobsters, oysters, prawns etc. I think polygamy is OK, as long as you don't marry your sister or brother.

Its also wrong to desire your neighbours wife, and if you do, I believe the penalty is a public stoning. You are also expected to own up to it, in which case you still get stoned to death, but god forgives you.

I am curious as to why people are so vehemently against gay marriage. Who does it affect except gay people? I am married and I dont feel like allowing gay marriage would diminish my own marriage to my wife.

I say the less bigots the better

Unreal this band of cock juggling thundercunts and fat fucking sons are allowed to exist on this or any other planet. I'm sorry. I would rather see the grandchildren dead than to grow up to be what these bleeding asscracks are.

Posted by: schom at 06/28/2005 12:27 AM

Protesting the war is your first amendment right, but protesting at a soldier's funeral and claiming its a great thing he's dead is disgusting. Maybe the best thing for the WBC is to take you people out to the desert, test the Hbomb to see if it actually works, then say that you people did something good in this world.

The Bible is a great read as a work of fiction.

As psychotic as the Phelps family obviously is, they seem to me to be the raw face of the Christian Evangelical Right. Strip away the facades of Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, James Dobson, Terry Randall, and Senator Rick Santorum and this is what you might find.

It is indeed time for REAL CHRISTIANS to stand up for Jesus's true gospel of love, compassion, and tolerance.

Two interesting comments: the one that WBC is a good arguement against cloning...surely our beaurcrats wouldn't use these people;
second: the lady commenting about them as a cult...what was your first clue?...this has nothing to do with JC's message, but using his words are incrediably powerful, Jim Jones, Erhardt, Scientology...and the list goes on! P.S. thanks for the tip about their possible threat...sorry I'm Scottish...I love a fight!

Wasn't "Phred" the name of the VietCong terrorist in Doonesbury in the 70's?
I know Mike Doonesbury's 2nd wife, Kim, was originally the VietNamese orphan that got adopted by a nice young American couple... D'you s'pose this here "Phred" is just Phred the terra-ist continuing his anti-American crusade? Has anyone looked at him closely, or checked his passport?

Posted by: smartalek at 07/10/2005 01:29 AM

What never ceases to amaze me is how so many of the people who call themselves "Christians" are not. Jesus Christ preached love, acceptance, peace, and humility. So many "Christians" preach hate, intolerance and war, and they clearly believe they're better than everyone else...

Posted by: Mickey at 07/24/2005 12:58 AM

It is exactly the kind of people like those at WBC that make me fighting mad. Are they Christians? The Bible says that you are known by your deeds and from their actions I doubt it HIGHLY. These people have their own agenda and use God and the truth of His son to spread their own twisted version of what they call "gospel". It is exactly these people that make the homosexual community think that ALL Christians hate them. Indeed this is not true. I am a Christian and I dont hate anyone. I may hate the sin but I do not hate the sinner. Just because I disagree with you doesn't mean that I hate you. In fact I am friends with many people who are gay. I don't preach at them. I don't tell them they are going to hell. Their relationship with God is exactly that, THEIRS. It is not my place to judge them that belongs only to God Himself. What good would it do me to get in anyones face and tell them they are going to hell? I am just as much of a sinner as anyone else. If it wasn't for the grace of God and his forgivness of my sin I would be just as lost. Our duty as Christians is to love our neighbors, and do good to those who hate us. We, as Christians, need to show the love, mercy, and forgivness that was shown to us. The WBC much mistakes the matter preaching that God hates everyone and God will deal with them according to what they have done, just as he will us all. As for myself and Christians like me, it would be wrong for me to sit by and not say anything when crazies, like these, who want to call themselves"followers of Christ" act as these people choose to act. On behalf of myself, I can't speak for others, I would like to say I'm sorry for the actions of these people to those familys who morn for loved ones lost to them. God Bless you all and may Gods grace be with you.

Come on, people.. It's not nice to make fun of the retarded...

Posted by: WonderKid at 10/05/2006 04:11 PM

Well, those fun-loving (albeit badly dressed) folks had threatened to appear at a funeral here in Rochester, NY for serviceman James Lyons, killed recently in Iraq. Interviewed on local radio yesterday, they were "enroute."
But, alas, none of them showed up.

There is a silver lining to every cloud (aka - the WBC). People came from all over today to support the family - the Patriot Guard brought close to 100 flag-carrying vets on motorcycles - the Brighton FD (his father is still a member) showed up in force, as did a couple hundred other people from around the area - some driving an hour or more. Dems, Republicans, peace lovers, vets, atheists and all sorts of religious affiliations were represented there today.... it was too cool for words.

Read up on these idiots - they're actually generating popular support for the people they hate so much, especially in their home town of Topeka. Such horrific gay-bashing isn't too popular among the locals.
Poetic justice eh? Such a nasty bunch of misguided individuals are unintentionally doing so much to unite people in a common cause.
Gotta love it!

Posted by: Rachel A. at 10/07/2006 05:49 PM

I am not a religious person, nor do I agree with the gay lifestyle, but I don't go spouting off insulting comments about my feelings on the matter. I find it amusing how this cult can breed so much hate. I believe that this twisted group would fizzle if all media groups written or video, stopped covering them. They are at best media whores, and would,nt know what to do with themselves if they were'nt noticed. They thrive on attention and medias coverage only fuels them. They have all of the lawyers to protect them, and will do everything in their power to provoke an altercation from people so they can sue them. That's how they survive.

Yeah, i used to be cynical towards gays, but then i thought, not too long ago didn't people used to think that all black people were inferior? I can't bring myself to judge anyone untill i die and see for myself.
