hey everyone. i'm still guest blogging for c monks. i'm gene. i'm still bleeding from the raffle.

we had brought boards with nails and crowbars and baseball bats for the children to the raffle and we were so happy. i mean, you should have seen klaus. he was so happy. like a big dane baby. just giddy with raffle excitement like a cute little bald-headed dane baby. we were going to the raffle. we even stopped for some blizzards and moo lattes at the copenhagen dairy queen. klaus got the mint butterfinger, i got the oreo peanut butter, and all of the other guys got moo lattes. it was great. moo lattes are great, but i'm glad i got the oreo peanut butter blizzard. mint butterfinger was good too, klaus gave me a little.

we get to the raffle at the mosque, full of blizzard and moo latte, and all of the muslims are outside, all ready to raffle, all happy and muslim in mood. this is when things didn't go so well.

i tried to be respectful. i tried to throw my oreo peanut butter blizzard away in a nearby trash can. i missed. the cup fell to the ground, and that's when someone yelled out something in gibberish and i got hit by a large danish in the head. day-old raspberry. hard.

i was unconscious for twenty-three hours and missed the entire raffle, klaus says, and now i'm here in the roskilde hooters drinking the pain of being hit in the head with a stale danish, for littering, away in front of an internet kiosk. these wings are great. i don't know what's going on anymore. i need to go to the country soon. someone tell me what to do. tell me what to do in the comments. i have three more days. i'll do anything.

klaus is making a face like his wings are too hot. i need to go.

Comments.

Anything, huh? Okay, here's an idea. Danes are really huge Michael Jackson fans. You and your new friends could all dress up like him. And make hot sandwiches on your George Forman grill. That's easy livin.

I love Denmark having spent time there in the 70's with my great uncle smoking cigarettes and drinking schnopps. He, the only one of my grandfather's brothers who did not "take to the sea" and instead became a reasonably well-known artist.

Lovely people - lovely country - make sure you order more than just one "sandwich" or you'll be hungry!

Have you tried dressing up like a mermaid and crafting an oddly-serene looking metal object of some functionality? You'll blend.

OH!
Or finger puppets. It's a Hans thing.

I think you should throw a party for your new friends and the muslims from the mosque to be sure there are no hard feelings about you littering at their raffle. Even better a SURPRISE part. You can tell the muslims it's a Meccathon and the other guys it's a scalp-shinnin'. They'll all be so surprised.

You know C is always going on about how great sex is with his Danish lover Trinka. Why don't you give us the real deal with the love-making there?

Maybe Star Jones would have some words of wisdom. Me...I got nothing.

When the cable television is not in your grasp at Denmark the combination of origami and Public Enemy is soothing on your soul. Very lucky.
