I have nothing for you today. Am plumb out of ideas. Plumb out. I am totally without plumb. I mean, I've never felt so plumbless in my life. At least not since I broke up with Eve Plumb. Yeah, we had something good, but after a while I felt like caged bird and I needed to spread my wings. I needed to soar. I needed to soar like a beautiful large-winged bird. Flap-flap, C., flap-flap.

The rest, of course, is history: I went on to be the one of the better-than-average fair-to-middling bloggers of all-time, and Eve Plumb went on to be come a better-than-average painter of fruits and stuff. And for the record, don't fool yourself into thinking that every one of her paintings of apples and pears or whatever doesn't have something to do with me.

I love fruit.
