Before we get on with today's festivities it's time again to check up on a few past inductees to find out where they are and what they've been doing with themselves since being enshrined in the most awesome blog hall of fame of all-time. Enjoy!

Brad is a semi pro wrestler; Katrien joined a cult.

Claire Zulkey (Inducted June 3rd, 2004)
Dead.

Whitney Pastorek (Inducted June 10th, 2004)
Joined a cult.

Jonathan Shipley (Inducted April 28, 2005)
Dead.

Matthew Simmons (Inducted May 12, 2005)
Joined a cult.

Alan Petner (Inducted August 25, 2005)
Studied the trapeze for a while, then joined a cult.

Dave House (Inducted March 27, 2006)
Joined a cult.

Tracy Berna (Inducted April 27, 2006)
Joined a cult.

Laura Carney (Inducted September 14, 2006)
Became a magician's assistant. Joined a cult. Died.

So there you have it. It's always great to check in on past inductees, for I share a special bond with them, one that will never be broken. Even if their spiritual leader tells them to denounce me. Yes, some other blog hall of fame's might deem joining a cult a cause for expulsion, but not mine. I can't afford to do that given so many inductees have joined a cult. If I did there'd hardly be any members left at all. So even if they've joined a cult or died or haven't visited my blog since their induction, they'll always be in the UWHOF. That's how strong my bond is with them.

And today we celebrate a new person who I shall forever be bonded with: Sweetney. As far as I know Sweetney is nowhere close to joining a cult. Yes, she goes by only one name and in most circles that's considered a head start, but my intern who vetted her says she is 100% cult free. Sweetney writes a hip parenting-type blog that by all accounts is read by way more people than Utter Wonder is. Whatever. I can handle that. Even though I'm also a hip parent who writes a blog it doesn't mean I'm in competition with her or anything. No, I am fully confident in my own parenting hipness to not let some other hip parent's fame and fortune bother me. Nope.

Not even a little.

So let's do like we always do for an inductee and stare at Sweetney's pic for a period of time no shorter than five seconds. Begin!

Well done! So what do we think of Sweetney's pic? I think it's very hip and parenty-looking. Looks like she took it herself. Wonder why she didn't have her kid do it. Both my sons can take a picture of me. Guess it comes down to parenting styles. Yep, some hip parents can just train their children to do things better than other hip parents can. That doesn't make me a better hip parent than Sweetney or anything. Just more successful. Along with taking a picture of me, my sons can also prepare an ice cream sundae and vacuum for me. Not at the same time, of course. Not yet anyway. I'm working on that. Right now they're kind of klutzy about it; they constantly spill hot fudge on the rug and make a big mess. It's kind of frustrating. I mean, what's the point of that? The idea is to clean the rug while preparing me a hot fudge sundae, not get it dirtier than when they started. God, they can be so dumb sometimes.

Anyway, without further ado, I hereby induct Sweetney into Utter Wonder's Hall of Fame. For her bravery and courage and intestinal fortitude Sweetney has received a signed copy of a fan letter I wrote Star Jones. The letter is more than suitable for framing and looks especially nice when you stand by it wearing one of these.

Remember, you too can be one of the brave and courageous and intestinal blah blah blahs. Simply send me a real-life picture of yourself and the rest as they say will be blog-hall-of-fame-istory.
