Reason Why I Am Better Than Everybody #4,917.

right back at you.We were attacked by Mooninites yesterday. Actually, we've been under attack by Mooninites the last couple of weeks, but only just noticed yesterday. For much of the afternoon the Boston area was in lock down after finding "mysterious" electrical devices installed in many bridges and buildings around the city.

I wasn't in lock down, though. No, even though I am pushing 40 I knew exactly what these installations were. How come? Because I am awesome and cool and with it. I may not be Aqua Teen Hungerforce's target audience, but that hasn't stopped me from watching the show and laughing at its jokes even though I sometimes don't get them because I'm not 22 and have had sex with a woman before.

So If I've learned anything from this guerrilla-marketing-gone-bad story is that I am pretty much cooler and awesomer and more with it than anybody else in the whole world. Or at least Boston, anyway. I mean, I know what the Mooninites are, which all the Oldy McOldy city authorities do not, and at the same time I understand that given how uptight all the Oldy McOldies are these days, what a stupid idea this marketing campaign was to begin with (all of this could have been avoided had Turner Broadcasting gave a little head's up to Boston officials. Or would that not have "Guerrilla Market-y enough" to do?) And to top it off, the artist who played a role in creating and installing these things lives in the same town I do and he got arrested and I did not. Plus I was home all day yesterday because L'il Buddy had the flu and hence didn't get caught in all the massive traffic tie-ups. Oh, and I have a Wii. So basically I win and am better than all who were involved.

Ha-ha, suckers!

I'm gonna go celebrate by eating nine donuts and having a good cry. Until tomorrow, losers!

This post is dedicated to homebodies.

Comments.

Dude, I heard this story on the radio this morning and that shit's crazy. Too bad dude got arrested.

On a side note, sitting at home with your 'wii' sounds way too erotic.

Would Oldy McOldster like to meet my friend Fatty McFat Fat? They would make a lovely couple.

Instead of Wiiing, you should be out there looking for the rest of the Mooninites that haven't been safely detonated yet. Those babies are going for 5 grand on ebay.

Yo C.,

I'm way cooler than you, Cuz I'm 46 and I've watched Aqua Teen Hunger Force and think the Mooninites are the best thing on the show. Well, except when Meatwad had an immaculate conception. And not only that, but I know a person who knows the guy who doesn't live in your town that created the panic. And further, I saw one of them "devices" last week and didn't report it to Mumbles Menino cuz I didn't want to be an Alcatraz around Hizzoner's neck. And I'm way too cool to play Wii games. I'm way too cool to even post a comment on any blog in the universe cuz I'm too busy being way to cool cuz I think Dick Cheney is controlling the weather and if you morph his face with Don Rumsfield's face you get Simon Bar-Sinister. And we all know that Simon Bar-Sinister had a weather machine so he could control the world. Or at least he used to. Simon's now living incognito as the neighbor Karl on Aqua Teen Hunger Force. It all comes back to that. Cuz that's how cool I am.
