Battle of My Local Baptist Churches' Billboards.

The Cornerstone Baptist Church's Current Billboard:

Hard to argue with this advice. I look back and regret every time I see the lottery results. I'm like, "Why didn't I play those numbers? Damn it."

The Open Door Baptist Church's Current Billboard:

I can't help but be charmed by the Miami Vice reference. Those were the days. I spent most of my junior year in high school wearing white, pink, and light blue clothing. Pastels rocked! Sigh. If only we could return to such simpler times. Jan Hammer, we need you more than ever.

WINNER:
The Open Door Baptist Church by a decision. The poor spelling isn't the best example to set for the kids, but we worry enough about he kids as it is. About time they start doing some worrying for themselves.

This post is dedicated to sinners.

And flamingos!

Flamingos were the go-to bird in those days, baby.

I have since renounced an entire swath of the color spectrum centered around aqua. And coral. And all their evil works.

It still burns.
