I'm Going to Disney World.

please leave me alone.
I've never been before. I'm hoping it'll provide for a few low-key, relaxing days. I really just need to get away from all the hustle and bustle of my life. I don't think it will be very crowded either because it's winter vacation for many northeastern school systems, so everyone will be off doing other things. I just want to unwind, mellow out and enjoy the magic of Disney, while at the same time not spend lots of money on food and trinkets and stuff neither I nor my sons really need.

So, yep, I think it's going to be fantastic.

This post is dedicated to you being on your own until Thursday.

We just got back two weeks ago. You're right--it's totally relaxing, just great to sit and do nothing while your kids run around and make their own fun, discovering little tide pools and running around with buckets of sand and...oh, wait. different vacation.

We had a blast, though. And my husband agreed with his buddies, in that Ariel is the hottest princess. Something about the red hair, I guess.

Bring bandaids and moleskin for the feet. If I hadn't had moleskin, I would have ended up self-amputating below the ankles.

And hey, have a magical day!

I live in Anaheim, home of the original and smallest Disneyland, and let me tell you even if it rain there's a million people there.

My wife and I took our four kids to Disney World about six or seven years ago. My advice? I can sum it up in four words: Go to Mexico instead.
