I don't know about you, but I'm relieved that Will Ferrell movie, Semi-Pro, has finally come out. The marketing campaign for the film has been pretty oppressive. Ferrell's been everywhere: talk shows, sports broadcasts, concerts, Old Spice commercials -- everywhere. Just last Thursday he made an appearance at my family's breakfast table. You'd think he's get tired of doing the same shtick over and over again.

"I believe breakfast is the most important meal of the morning," he said to us. He was wearing Stockton short, a headband, the whole works.

I thanked him for his time and asked him to leave.

"Very well," he said, rising from his chair. "Stay classy, Monks Family."

And then he buried his face in his hands and cried.
