The Ronan Tynan-Related Comment of the Week.

tyty.jpg"Hopefully everyone is having a fantastic Easter weekend. Siobhan-I have read this entire blog and some people are so cruel, like you said. That is really too sad. Maybe they just need to get a life of their own and stop trying to bring others down with them. The U.S. is plagued with depression anyhow...and we are the greatest country on the earth. Go figure. Anyhow, there cannot be this many people who have personal vendettas again the tenor. It's probably one mystery that will go unsolved. We can hope that those with ill will have moved on. Cross your fingers!"

If you have any mercy for humanity, you'll destroy those blog entries and their accompanying comments. They can only serve to continue dragging this country into the unsolved mystery of depression and meth labs. And terrorism.

Stop supporting terror. Or 'The Tenor'. Whatever.

Well, thank you, finally a flattering picture of Dr. Tynan. See, he's popular with women of all ages, not just the bingo set.

Posted by: Anonymous at 03/25/2008 11:17 AM

Ahh another ronan tynan blog..I might have to put my two cents in..haha

Posted by: m.k. at 04/19/2008 05:34 PM

Well, I for one, think the world was definitely in need of another R.T. blog...the others were getting way too negative and crazy. Awesome job at Yankee Stadium earlier today by the good dcotor - a Bruce song, no less!! Rock on, Ronan.

Posted by: njygirl at 04/20/2008 10:04 PM

The DNA tests have come back...Dr. Ronan Tynan is the father of 250 of the 400+ children from that polygamist cult I wonder if he'll try to get custody.

Posted by: Classified at 04/25/2008 08:06 PM

We can only hope there are no offspring (cult or otherwise) of Ronan Tynan. And, speaking of pictures (in an above post) did anyone see the one of RT in the fur coat last winter? Does anyone know if RT will do a summer photo- maybe in a Speedo? It could be one of those promotional shots. Wait a minute...how about a calendar?

Posted by: Unclassified at 04/27/2008 12:12 AM

I saw that fur coat photo, I think R.T. lost a bet or something. As for the Speedo, to be fair, that particular swimwear flatters no one. A calender is an interesting idea though...tastefully done, of course.

Posted by: njygirl at 04/27/2008 10:48 AM

I see he's using women's names again. At least he knows better than to use mine again, especially on yahoo. He always adopts a woman's name in his posts. With the photo of the fur coat, it is obvious he'd rather show his "feminine" side a lot. We can only pray he'll never subject us to a calendar. Altho, he'll have one sale for certain....his sister. Make that 2 sales...the other would be the token female he has in photos who is an assistant on his website so you won't notice he always brings along the sister as a date. The big assistant is the one who will kick your b*tt up between your shoulder blades. Hahaha. A big sissy hiding behind a big skirt.

Posted by: maura_russell at 04/28/2008 11:28 PM

"Some" people might want to check with Star Jones. She and her old (big) clothes are available. She had some "sassy" dresses. We won't tell!! (I am really trying NOT to get a visual here)

Posted by: Unclassified at 04/29/2008 12:11 PM

Maura(if that is indeed your name), welcome back...did you get kicked out of the RT group on Yahoo again? Yes, I saw your old posts over there, all nice and complimentary..until Dr. T had to cut you loose. I hope you get over your obvious heartbreak very soon. RT has moved on, you should try to do the same. Best of luck.

Posted by: njygirl at 04/29/2008 12:24 PM

Whoa...feel that power? Be careful out there...RT can "cut you loose". I think I am going to look for me a new Star Jones site...ha

Posted by: Unclassified at 04/29/2008 01:21 PM

Unclassified: Fear not, the "cutting loose" was strictly on a personal level; unless you too were "involved" with RT, you need not worry.

Posted by: njygirl at 04/29/2008 02:43 PM

It seems to me the presumptions of njygirl to know who or what "RT" cuts loose are way off base. I am well-adjusted, married for 14 years and would not ever be heartbroken over something so silly as an RT group or RT himself. He cannot use my name, that's all. What has RT moved on from? Any criticism from the public brings about the remarks that he dumps women or "scorns" them, and that is beyond absurd.

Posted by: maura_russell at 04/29/2008 04:13 PM

Is your name supposed to be one that the "public" would recognize? Time for a reality check. By the way, it seems that any rebuttal of your nasty, hateful remarks about RT leads you(or one of your alter-egos) to accuse almost everyone else on here of being RT.

Posted by: njygirl at 04/29/2008 05:39 PM

Wow - sounds like someone is using someone's name out there? And, it's getting nasty. Inquiring minds want to know who Dr. T cut loose! There is something to this, folks. Apparently (through the last five posts) "njygirl" has the scoop...please share. You are obviously so close to Dr. T.

Posted by: laura-mussell at 04/30/2008 10:50 AM

The only scoop I have is that there are those on this blog who continue to insult Dr. Tynan for no apparent reason, other than perhaps their disappointment in a relationship (personal or professional) that has ended. It just seems a shame that anyone would try to ruin a man's reputation over such a thing. As for my closeness to RT, I should be so lucky.

Posted by: njygirl at 04/30/2008 01:55 PM

Again, this blog is full of hot air...either njygirl knows something or he/she is blowing hot air again. That's too bad actually. Why make trouble? I liked the fun and wit, but this is ridiculous. If you don't know for certain that Dr. T cut someone loose (in whatever manner), then stop saying it and then back peddle. You could be the very one stirring!!!

Posted by: Unclassified at 04/30/2008 02:09 PM

Someone is stirring up this pot alright. IMHO, Ronan Tynan woulnd't associate with women of such low caliber that they would get on this or other sites and blab about him in a negative way. Surely he would have a classier type than that on his arm and trusts that they don't yak about personal things on this type of public forum. Besides, this could be much ado about nothingness. He has been interviewed for years and even a performances, he states is "available". So I'd say there really is no one for him/with him or he'd be saying so. Since he does have that Irish gift of gab. BTW, I'm Irish and male. So don't anyone bother attacking my opinion, ok?

Posted by: Classical at 04/30/2008 11:23 PM

I did have 1 question for njygirl...are you an expert/professional when it comes to all types of relationships? You know M. Russell's name and respond to her, but you don't give your name. Seems turnabout is fair play. No?

Posted by: Classical at 04/30/2008 11:30 PM

No, njygirl cannot be a relationship expert or any other kind of expert...he/she back peddles too much. That wishy-washy stuff won't fly.

Posted by: Unclassified at 05/01/2008 09:08 AM

Oh now, now, calm down you wacky guys!

Posted by: njygirl at 05/01/2008 10:34 AM

In the interest of proper word usage, is it back peddle or back pedal? Just asking, I'm fairly sure that Dr.Ronan Tynan would want us to be grammatically correct when defending and/or crucifying him in the blogosphere.

Posted by: Anonymous at 05/02/2008 09:39 AM

I think I stand corrected that it is back pedal. Those who back pedal would want to have it stated correctly. The other "peddle" would be in reference to Dr. Tynan peddling his so-called talent and his recorded wares after his performances (and I use the term "performances" loosely). Is that a good enough grammatical crucifying of RT? In the post at the top of this blog, the blogger says "those with ill will have moved on". That's not going to happen on a blog. All blogs are pretty much like this one.

Posted by: Unclassified at 05/02/2008 11:25 AM

I like a person who can admit to being wrong...there may be hope for you "Unclassified", if that is indeed your name. HaHa! No, I do not claim to be an expert of any sort; I just think "Maura" should come clean as to why she is so angry with the good Doctor. Elsewhere on this blog(under many aliases), she/he has questioned RT's sexual orientation, all but accused him of incest(w/his sis), implies that he is an alcoholic, and it goes on and on. All of this apparently because of some misunderstanding involving a cruise; I doubt it. Oh and I am not silly enough to put my name on this or any other blog, way too many nuts out here in blogland. I'm sure you understand.

Posted by: njygirl at 05/02/2008 03:00 PM

Oh, calm down, you wacky girl.

Posted by: Classical at 05/02/2008 10:59 PM

Wow, "Classical" you have a sense of humor, too? This is excellent news!

Posted by: njygirl at 05/02/2008 11:24 PM

Hey, are the three young girls in the picture here really Ronan's granddaughters?Someone told me they are the daughters of some of his staff. I say, what staff? At any rate, their hair isn't blue enough to be fans. I really think they lost a bet or were court ordered to be there. It has to be some sort of punishment.

Posted by: Nonnymous at 05/03/2008 12:33 PM

Hey Nonny Nonny: I believe this pic was taken at a college after one of RT's performances. Before you get snarky again let me say that my hair is auburn, not blue, and I love RT's singing. Now you may flame away as you see fit. :)

Posted by: Lisa in PA at 05/03/2008 12:50 PM

Aren't you supposed to be njygirl on this blog? Pay attention to which blog you're playing on, man!!

Posted by: OopsyDaisy at 05/03/2008 03:45 PM

Oopsy: Who are you referring to?

Posted by: Lisa in PA at 05/03/2008 04:06 PM

Lisa, I think "Oopsy" is insinuating that you and I are the same person. Regardless, you are right about the pic, they're sorority sisters from a college or university.

Posted by: njygirl at 05/03/2008 04:36 PM

Oopsy: I am not njygirl. You may have missed the point that I'm in PA. Now there are two of us - are you worried? :)

Posted by: Lisa in PA at 05/03/2008 05:54 PM

My first post was referring to "Lisa in PA." Actually, over all, there are about 9+ of you. Can anyone say "Sybil"? What a hoot this is, dude!! Now, go chit-chat or argue with one of your "people". I had been reading the tenor blogs for two days and most of the posts are strange. Now I know why...too many posts/names coming from the same keyboard. I won't be back, nor will I attend any tenor performance. Creepy!!

Posted by: OopsyDaisy at 05/03/2008 06:52 PM

There's some good news for us all! Adios.

Posted by: Lisa in PA at 05/03/2008 07:11 PM

Amen to that, Lisa. If I read between the lines correctly, that guy(?) is convinced that you and I are not only the same person, but "we" are Ronan Tynan. I don't know about you, but I am just a regular girl from NJ, having a little fun.

Posted by: njygirl at 05/03/2008 08:19 PM

I know one thing and that's that I'm not Ronan. Firstly, if I sang people would throw things. Like fruit or maybe their wallet to just make it stop. I too am a regular girl, in PA, also having a little fun.

Posted by: Lisa in PA at 05/03/2008 09:30 PM

By the way, those girls in the picture look pretty thrilled to be right where they are. Who can blame them? I am also quite a few years away from being a member of the "blue hair" set, and I think RT is a cutie pie by any standards.

Posted by: njygirl at 05/04/2008 06:56 PM

njygirl: I agree with you - RT is a cutie.

Posted by: Lisa in PA at 05/04/2008 07:52 PM

He's intelligent and talented too, the total package, one might say.

Posted by: njygirl at 05/05/2008 11:27 AM

njygirl: Once again, I agree with you. I'll take that delivery any day. I should be so fortunate...

Posted by: Lisa in PA at 05/05/2008 12:45 PM

Rumor has it that our sweet little Jordin Sparks will be singing at some of the Yankee games. That is wonderful news. She is original, natural talent with authentic NY ties. She's been seen around town shopping with Haley, the boss's granddaughter. NY Loves You, Jordin!!

Posted by: YankeeInsider at 05/05/2008 11:43 PM

Should I know who "Jordin Sparks" is? No matter, there is just no way that anyone can top Dr. Tynan's version of God Bless America. He just brings something extraordinary to that song - actually, to every song he performs. Oh and by the way, Dr. T has "authentic NY ties"; he's lived in the city for years now. Just to set the record straight. Thank you.

Posted by: njygirl at 05/06/2008 10:57 AM

RT may stay in NYC sometimes but he is a Florida resident. Maybe he should check with the Marlins...

Posted by: YankeeInsider at 05/06/2008 07:59 PM

...well, if he ever needs a place to stay in Jersey...just a thought.

Posted by: njygirl at 05/06/2008 11:48 PM

Happy Birthday, Ronan, you crazy guy.

Posted by: Anonymous at 05/14/2008 08:52 AM

I just had to stop by and tell everyone to be sure to visit RT's website. There is an absolutely gorgeous new photo of him (taken by his gf, I think). Love him or hate him, you must admit he looks quite attractive!

Posted by: njygirl at 06/09/2008 12:38 PM

The pic is great, excellent subject and excellent location. If it was taken by his gf she's one lucky gal. Damn, another dream all shot to h***.

Posted by: cuan at 06/09/2008 01:18 PM

Well, I don't want to start any rumors, and I'm not one to gossip but...amateur detective that I am, I have noticed that the same woman is credited with taking many photos on RT's website. She's also in at least one with him, looking kind of cozy. So I put 2 and 2 together, and figured out that she's the "longtime gf" that is often mentioned. That's okay, the rest of us can still dream anyway.

Posted by: njygirl at 06/09/2008 05:04 PM

I thought she was simply a team member. I don't recall hearing a longtime gf mentioned. Drat, looks like I'm wrong again. Now I'm really bummed. I guess I'll have to dream some other dream. That's gonna take some work though.

Posted by: cuan at 06/09/2008 06:42 PM

Maybe my detective skills aren't as sharp as I like to think; but I'm pretty sure about the gf. Either way, you can continue to dream; no harm in that, right?

Posted by: njygirl at 06/10/2008 11:19 AM

Well,if he's taken then it seems kinda pointless. Maybe, sometimes, you have to let go of dreams.
