As I type this I am waiting for Michelle Obama to give her speech at the convention. Teddy Kennedy just finished his. It was good. Or at least what I heard of it was. I listened while playing Word Twist on Facebook. Did you know that the standard dictionary the game uses doesn't consider "Penis" a word? I don't understand that. Does that make me a eunuch? Anyway, as I was saying, Teddy's speech was solid. Of course, he pretty much could have said anything up there and it would have been good. I mean, he's got brain cancer. He could have recited a poem about why he loves Jell-O and it would have been inspirational. Ah, the perks of brain cancer. Right now, the convention's house band is playing "Celebration" by Kool and the Gang. All the delegates are clapping and dancing. Some are even singing along. It really is a celebration. Oh, there's Matthew Modine. I've heard he's a huge Kool and the Gang fan. Who isn't, though, right?
Republicans, that's who.
