Ask C And You Shall Learn, Volume XIX.

not me.Dear C.,
I wanted to wish you a happy holiday season. I bought your book for my best friend Ashley, who turned me onto your blog. You should have seen her face when she realized that it was your book. It is because of your blog that me and her are friends to this day. She started working with me 3 years into my job, and she brought with her your website. It gave us a common ground to share. Thank you so much for that, because she is my very best friend in the world. I hope you and yours has a great holiday season and try not to get too snowed in!

Elicia K.
Darlington, S.C

Okay, so that's not really a question, but whatever. I'll let it slide this one time, Elicia, because if that's not the nicest reader email I have ever received than I don't know what.

You see, avid readers of this blog are well-aware that my main motivation for writing this thing is to bring people together. I don't really care about the groupies or accolades or the groupies. No, it's bringing people together that's what I'm all about. I really couldn't care less about the groupies. Or the groupies.

Sigh.

As we all know, people all over the world are just craving to be brought together. They seek friendship and fun, and not just of the Yahoo Sex Chat Room-variety. They desperately want to make a real connection with real people like themselves. It's almost like disease, a "get me together with somebody flu" if you will. It's kind of gross really, because any kind of flu can be nasty. I for one hate throwing up. So I can't imaging how hard it must be to have the "get me together with somebody flu." I mean, you already have a hard enough time getting together with people; all that throwing up is not going to help you one bit. Ever try to get together with somebody while you're projectile vomiting? Vomiting at get togethers is a huge turnoff. Just ask Tara Reid.

Thankfully, I don't have that problem since I've never been stricken with the "get me together with somebody flu." That's because I am perfectly happy having very few friends and am content to spend my days in my pajamas playing video games in my man attic. All the same, I'm glad I could be a doctor of sorts by helping Elicia and Ashley get together. It's safe to say that neither of them has thrown up in the last three years. No, the only thing they've be throwing up are laughs as they read the best fair-to-middling blog in all of Eastern Massachusetts. You're welcome, ladies!

If you have a question about anything, just ask C and you shall learn.

Liberace would make a better looking woman than Elicia K.

Just got over the flu. First my husband then me. The big difference in our projectile vomiting is when I did it, it didn't sound like someone was killing me. Men.

I just flu in from Detroit and, boy, are my sympathetic regurgitation reflexes tired.

Good to see you back Shady.

I have you know, elle, I am very fond of my looks. And thanks C. for posting that kind blog. I have yet to hold Ashley's hair back but her time is coming one day!

Elicia, I never would have made that comparison had C. used your photo instead of that sub-par stand in up top. You go girl!

Elle, that is the regular pic I use for "Ask C..." columns. It is a photo of Christopher Monks's (not me) face over Ann Landers's body. You get a D for not doing your UW homework.

If I say that you are the best writer, blogger, author, and video game player ever will my grade get raised to at least a B+?

oh, just *glue* your lips to his butt, already ;)

Now, now Shadypooh. There's no need to jealous :)

Correction: There's no need to be jealous.

Ann Landers? What a relief, I really thought you'd gone to seed. Or done some really deep soul searching.
