A month ago I was in New York City and I participated in a literary reading to the death. Here's a brief recap if you're interested. The only thing I'll add is that that picture of me makes me look a lot heavier than I am. That's what I get for wearing baggy jeans and a T-shirt. Though I wouldn't have taken my button down shirt off had not my competitor taken off his own in an attempt to elicit some points from the judges. Whatever. My awesome man arms clearly impressed the judges enough to carry me through to the final round.
