Defending the Butterflies.

In an hour I'm due to chaperon 40 second graders to the Butterfly Place, so I really can't be bothered with obsessing over all the unfunny things the four of you will write in the comments section today. 40 lives will be in my hands. Not to mention the lives of thousands of butterflies. This field trip will either be delightful or a holocaust. So, yes, forgive me for not caring about my blog today.

In light of something fair-to-middling, I give you Eugene Mirman's commencement speech at Lexington High School, just one town over from where I live.

Comments.

Fine. No invites for you to write 2500-3000 word essay for free and everlasting thanks. See what happens when you ignore us.

"Somebody made a big mistake." I'll agree with that - who put you in a position of responsibility for 40 children? The world is goin' to hell in a handbasket.

You in charge of 40 young children in a butterfly garden? You'll have writing material for years to come! P.S. Great speech. Loved the -8 story.
